Having established strong quarrying operations for 5 products, the company is aggressively investing in better technologies to process these materials. Maheshwary Marbles currently operates two major processing facilities in India.
The processing facility in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan produces 3.5 million sq. ft. of stone slabs and tiles. This facility is equipped with an 80-tray resin liner and pneumatic polishing machines to further improve the post application beauty of the stone. The other processing unit is in the state of Madhya Pradesh in Katni with a capacity to produce 1.5 million sq. ft. of natural stones. The combined processing capacity of 5 million sq. ft. gives the company the capability to handle large projects.
The company is now planning to enter into granite processing by setting up a multi-wire gang-saw machine at Chittorgarh, which would primarily focus on processing a range of granites from the Rajasthan belt. The company also has plans to treble its processing capacity to 15 million sq. ft. per annum, in an attempt to further propel its growth.
